Since 1990 I am working as a professional photographer.
Key aspects of work are on architectural photography (specialisations in landscape photography and model photography as well as 3D-photography encased), hotel photography (specialisations in food photography and people photography as well as 3D-photography encased), corporate identity (main focus here on photography of image brochures and annual reports for print and web) and nude photography (as well as erotic photography done in the style of Playboy- or Penthouse magazine).
Photography to me is inner calling and profession likewise.
Of course each photo contains information at all times. But only information which is in harmonic accordance to emotion within the picture is able to rouse affection by the viewer for the picture and its message. The result of that combination – information and emotion – for me is the most important attribute in photography. Consequently I might be seen as a hunter – at same time being chased – hunting feelings, which informative photographs can provide. And frequently the shot hits.

Themenschwerpunkte sind Architekturfotografie (hier auch in den Fachdisziplinen Landschafts- und Modellfotografie und 3D-Fotografie), Hotelfotografie (hier auch in den Fachldisziplinen Food- und People-Fotografie und 3D-Fotografie), corporate identity (Schwerpunkt hier ist die Fotografie der Bildwelten für Imagebroschüren, Geschäftsberichte und Firmenselbstdarstellungen für Print und Web) und Aktfotografie (hier auch erotische Fotografie, im Stil des Playboy- oder Penthousemagazins).
Fotografie ist für mich Berufung und Beruf zugleich.
Natürlich sind Fotografien auch immer Information. Aber nur Informationen, die sich im Gleichklang mit den Emotionen in Fotografien ausdrücken, sind in der Lage die Zuneigung des Betrachters für die Fotografie und deren Botschaft zu erhalten. Dies sind für mich mit die wichtigsten Merkmale gelungener Fotografie. Somit könnte man mich auch als einen Jäger – und zugleich Gejagten – nach dem Gefühl, das die grundsätzliche Bildinformation vermitteln kann, bezeichnen. Und oftmals gelingt der Schuss.
